Smile Britannia Charity Art Auction - 16/12/2013

Smile Britannia is a charity art project launched by the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation and the London Westbank Gallery in collaboration with Temwa. All the artists featured in the collection created and donated unique artworks encompassing the theme of Smile Britannia. 100% of profits from the Smile Britannia auction will be donated to the charitable bodies the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation, Temwa and the Smile Britannia project.

Pieces included the first live piece of graffiti art in the House of Commons by Inkie, and the first smiley face icon ever to be in the House of Commons: ‘Mega Powerpill’ by RYCA. Here's some pics of the auction from LDNGraffiti!

This project was born from the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation’s charitable initiative House the House hosted by MP Mike Weatherley who has recently set up the House Associates. Winners of this national DJ competition received over £25,000 in music production courses and musical equipment, with the overall winner playing a historic set on March 6th 2013 at the House of Commons with support from Fatboy Slim.
